Derrick lives with his parents and his three sisters. His father is a carpenter and he helps him by carrying timber and doing any light manual labor. In his free time, he enjoys playing football at the community field with his peers. His favorite color is red and he likes eating African-cooked rice (pilau.) He likes studying science in school and hopes to be a doctor one day.
