Florence is the fifth born in a family of six children. She lives with her parents who are farmers of maize, beans, and potatoes. She helps her parents with weeding, collecting firewood, preparing meals, fetching water, and caring for livestock. She also visits her grandparents nearby and helps them with household chores. For fun, she likes to play hide-and-seek with other children in the community. She wants to become a pilot and make a good living so she can care for her parents.
