Meet Lilian Wambui!
Lilian is the fifth born in a family of eight children. Her parents are farmers of maize, beans, and potatoes. Her father also works in the village as a casual laborer to help provide for his family. Lilian helps with weeding, caring for livestock, preparing meals, fetching water, and gathering firewood. She is cheerful and loves to play soccer, netball, and dance. She wants to become a nurse.
